Working with art consultants Luminaire Arts, they were tasked by design studio Studio Clement to source various artworks for a luxury renovation in Belgravia – London. Apollo was commissioned in brass and they chose a beautiful blue patina to be applied that would compliment and contrast the rich and dark interior. The sculpture was commissioned to be a focal feature at the end of a stunning basement pool.

The origins of the Apollo design are heavily influenced by Fibonacci, although the proportions of this form do not strictly adhere to its Math. As a highly aesthetic form, even being made from incredible rigid straight pieces of metal, the sculpture flows and curves from every and all angles, transforming in shape from the various view points.

This sculpture is ideal and best suited for an interior setting, with the brass being sealed to stop any tarnishing or discoloration. Brass requires a high level of maintenance and additional expense if desired outdoors, so I recommend stainless steel as the best alternative for an exterior version of this sculpture.
