‘Alpha’ was an experiment in the aesthetic qualities that could be achieved by exploring simple ratios and repetition. The principles of Fibonacci were followed in the creation of this sculpture and as a result the simplicity of the form creates a very beautiful and eye catching quality. When viewed from above, the position of each tube follows the Fibonacci curve.

I have undertaken many bespoke commissions to make this design at varying scales and finishes. From 60cm H versions, up to 2.4m versions that have sold through Sotherby’s – Summers Place Auction’s. This design can be made in a variety of materials and finishes.
